Marc Bien – Music Director
Marc was born in Schiedam (1974), a small town near Rotterdam in the Netherlands. He grew up in Vlaardingen, where he still lives these days. Marc has a wide and diverse experience in the music industry. He began his music career at an early age. He started as a session musician and musical director for national and internationally acclaimed artists and did tours in Europe and the US. During the mid-nineties he signed his first record deal with Polydor as a songwriter and record producer. From that time on he consulted for several unsigned upcoming young artists on A&R matters.
Due to his conservatory background he has given a lot of courses and workshops concerning music theory, composing, songwriting, arranging, band coaching, music production & mixing. As the Music Director Marc focuses on all aspects of music within Artistik Records. This includes being actively involved in all processes of music with Artistik Records recording artists and producers.

Michel Frissen – Creative Director
Michel was born and raised in Gouda (1981), the Netherlands. He grew up with Artistik Records partner Sunir Patel. As young boys they always dreamed about one day having their own business. In 2006, their dream finally became tangible. In university, while following the course Media & Entertainment Management, Sunir introduced Michel to Marc Bien. “Marc and Michel both shared a passion for songwriting, so I wanted to see what happened when putting them together”, Sunir says. The writing went really well, so they started seeing each other more often to write songs.
In 2006 things started getting serious. After writing for a while Marc, Michel and Sunir came up with the idea for Artistik. Since Michel and Sunir graduated and both got their bachelor degree in economics in 2008, Artistik developed into Artistik Records; a full service management-, artist development agency and independent record label. As the Creative Director Michel is responsible for all creative forms of communication and media. This involves developing artistic and musical ideas and concepts. Besides being the Creative Director Michel is still active as a songwriter.

Sunir J. Patel – Managing Director
Sunir was born on the exotic island of Aruba (1980). When he was 5 years old Sunir and his mother moved to the Netherlands. They lived in Amsterdam and Heerhugowaard for a while, but eventually his mother settled down in Gouda where Sunir spent most of his youth. Like Michel he also received his degree in Economics in 2008 after following the course Media & Entertainment Management at Hogeschool INHOLLAND Rotterdam. During this study his major focused on film and TV. His latent passion for music evolved after bringing Marc and Michel together for a writing session, which lead to the beginning of Artistik. From that moment on he started to develop himself in the music business. As a driven entrepreneur he quickly mastered the inns & outs of the business. As the Managing Director he is the first contact with the outside world and he watches over the processes within Artistik Records. He has a natural talent for networking.
